CompoTech supports structural engineers and naval architects in the design and manufacture of mast and rigging spars. Our technology is applied by boat yards and rigging shops for a variety of vessels, ranging from super yachts through to dinghies.
High performance technology
With the ability to place true zero degree axial fibres under tension, our technology exceeds the stiffness and strength performance of traditional filament wound marine spars and equipment.
Examples of marine applications include: headfoils, mast tubes, booms, gaffs, spinnaker poles, outriggers, bow sprits and radar poles.

Seascape
Since the Seacape 18 was launched in 2008, CompoTech has worked closely with the designers to produce rig tubes for this popular, one design sailing boat. Beneteau has since incorporated Seascape Boats into their range of racer cruisers. Our relationship remains strong and CompoTech continues to supply composite boom, bow sprit and masts for all Seascape Edition models from the 14 to the 36.
