CompoTech’s filament laying process is able to achieve very low porosity levels. This allows us to supply industry certified insulated glass fibre composite structures for live high voltage electrical applications. CompoTech products have been certified to EN61230 and EN61235 standards, the tube and tools standard for high voltage electrically insulated equipment.
For many years, CompoTech has supplied the Czech industry with “Hot Sticks” or high insulation glass fibre tubes. This sector is developing further with insulated structural tubes in platform lifts for France Elevator.
